Hello Paula, I'm no expert, but i think that your have photographed this scene fairly spot on. Long story short , if i seen it in a shop for sale , I'd buy it. Well done mate. Vision,Technique,Originality and impact , its all there.
Besides, do you believe its a good photograph? If you do, that's all that matters then isn't it. There requesting a 100 words and im struggling to do that so if i babble on a bit please forgive me. It would also be nice in color to i think.
Sepia is another good format. But you probably know that already. Have a good one. P
I like this a lot. This picture is simple but it doesnt make it less special. I like the soft focus on the flowers.
This picture also gives me a certain feeling of loneliness. Maybe that's just me, but the flowers are somewhere on the side of a sidewalk, everybody can see them but no one really cares. They're just part of our daily view on the street. So I love the way you've focussed on something we see as 'normal'. We take it's presence for granted.
You surely have skills in photography! Keep going and improving you're on the right way
This photo has lovely soft contrasting details and symmetry. The clearer star shapes of the flowers in the foreground draws in the eye. The soft, even and fading texture of the brickwork in the background adds a dreamy feel which entices the eye to look for more.
I like this photo, it simplifies the beauty of the flowers and doesn't take away from them at all by being black and white, in fact I think it creates a more simplistic beauty about them which is why I have always loved black and white photos myself! Great job!
I like it. its a beautiful picture. It comes with allot of emotion. I also say it portrays a bit of loneliness but for me more sadness because of the black and white combined with the flowers reminds me of a funeral or maybe a loved one going away, hence the title please stay? thats what I think but very well done
